ARC CHILDREN’S CENTRE
Since 2011, Arc Children’s Centre has helped more than 150 children with cancer or life-threatening illnesses. An independent charity Centre, they provide a sanctuary for the children’s continuing education, safety and bonding.
They work to maximize each child’s potential and instill confidence to lead a fulfilling life. They also provide a haven of respite and reprieve for parents trying to cope with the challenges of battling cancer.
THE EMMA YONG FUND
The Emma Yong Fund was set up in 2012 for theatre practitioners, many of whom do not have regular salaries, but are freelance artists, cast, crew and other personnel, who work on and off stage, on and adhoc, project basis.
The main objective of the fund is to give financial aid to theatre practitioners in Singapore suffering from cancer and other critical illnesses. The other objective is to raise awareness and educate the Singapore theatre community about the need to procure adequate medical insurance.
